We all have backgrounds and stories that make us who we are. My upbringing with two loving parents, an older
brother and several grandparents set the stage for a very supportive life.
In addition, I am now lucky to share life with a loving husband, Wesley, plus our "dog-child" Sabian. Wesley's family and my family,
plus very supportive friends, continue to provide relationships that make us feel "more blessed than stressed." Surrounded by these people,
it's impossible not to be influenced for the better.
As I launch the "more blessed than stressed" project, I am including a few special website features. The
"Top 11" list
and "Poetry Picks"
serve as opportunities to take a moment and consider some of life's pleasures that are always free of charge. Our
"Links"
page highlights business associates and includes areas that receive ongoing contributions from sales, as a way of "giving back" to share the
project concept.
Overall, I believe a fulfilling life includes striving for goals with results that are unique to the individual. I like the word "satori,"
which is defined as "a state of intuitive illumination." It's the light bulb that goes on in your mind providing awareness, which helps
move past fear and negative appearances. Seeing the good before you is a choice.
Ultimately, gratitude is the foundation for reaching high potentials. The idea that a simple thought can serve as a guiding reminder toward
experiencing life's best is worth sharing.
We all know that life gets a little crazy sometimes, so anytime is a good time to be grateful for something, take a moment to recognize it
and experience the feeling of "more blessed than stressed."
